The fixed undercarriage can be made with beam – suitable for a wide range of applications – or with a central frame, which allows a complete design with hydraulic swivel joint and hydraulic connection to the motors, slewing ring and more optional.
Specifically, the undercarriage with a central frame can be configured in two ways:
- With X frame, usually designed for excavator, it represents the best balance between lightness and torsional rigidity of the steel structure
- With H frame, which has the same characteristics as the X frame, but allows the design of removable side frames, in order to limit weight and dimension, allowing some level of transportability
